Npower Beneficiaries Write To Humanitarian Minister
My brother's and sister's and fellow Npower beneficiaries.
I have sent our open letter to the Hon. Minister via her tweeter handle, Also sent it to the ministry's Page. Sent to some news blog's. National dailies And advertised it for all well meaning Nigerians to read and feel our pain.
It is time we agitate for what rightfully belongs to us as graduates of this country in a civilized manner within the ambit of the law as an organized group.
We are 500,000 thousand graduates, almost half the number of the entire countries population of about 200 hundred million people.
We have gone through the four walls of education and certified with various degrees, served our father land. And Some of us are first class materials.
We can not be used and dumped.
Going back to the streets to start all over is not an option. There is no Exit or empowerment better than granting permanency to all Npower beneficiaries nation wide.
This is our government, we came out in mass for rallies and campaigned for President Muhammadu Buhari's reelection.
We are Senior citizens compared to the NYSC serving corp members on the same federal pay roll but the government pays them 33,000 thousand inline with the new minimum wage leaving us behind. This is unfair, so they get to finish their service, get Npower job only to be paid 30,000 Naira lower than Alaweee.
Brothers we need to voice out. They have conscience, they will hear us when we cry out. Because if we don't no one will help us.
We have a responsibility of taking care of our families, those who contributed one way or the other in our education as well as giving back to the society services required of us as graduates.
We need to be articulate in this struggle for permanency.
So there is need for us to be organized and follow the appropriate quarters to make our voice heard.
Please we need active state coordinators, LGA coordinators,
Every one should be a WhatsApp admin to add all Npower beneficiaries you know from every parts of the country thereby keeping everyone informed.
We are all leaders in our own little capacity.
Each state coordinators will have to write a letter to their state Governors notifying them of the reasons why Npower beneficiaries should be made permanent federal civil servants. Requesting for them to play their own part as our state governors.
We would be having Peaceful rallies. Nation wide if they refuse to recuse and consider our plight.
We would be writing other letters to the president, Vice president, senate, and house of reps.
I believe the Hon. Minister is a human being. She understand how we feel but we need to make some steps as the people directly involved so that other relevant authorities will see reason with her if she approaches them with recommendations of permanency.
Government, politicians, administrations and regimes come and goes, but the civil service remain. We are not asking for too much.
N-Power is a legacy of the president Mohammedu Buharis administration.
They should consolidate us as permanent civil servants.
Please most importantly, I want to sincerely appeal to our aggrieved brother's and sister's to stop abusing the honorable minister. And I know it's not easy for her overseeing 500,000 thousand people,
half the country. Please let's give her some respect as a mother.
Yes We will keep voicing out for our permanency, late payment, device and so on. but insulting her is unacceptable please.
Hajia Sadia Umar Farouk won't be in that office forever but we should help her create a legacy which will record her name in the good book of history of permanenting the job of 500,000 thousand people.
I believe she knows we are agitating for permanency. So Let's encourage her and appeal to her to do her best to make us permanent federal civil servants.
I wish us success and God Almighty bless us all.
NPOWER PERMANENCY OR NOTHING.
I love you all. Happy weekend and a Prosperous week a head.
Good ideas and advises are welcome.
