Meet The Finalists For The 2020 Africa Green Grant Bootcamp

Agriculture is the way to go now, especially as the white collar jobs are not easy to come by. Again during this pandemic raverging the entire universe, most businesses and jobs were affected negatively, it is only the agricultural sector that still stands the test of time.

In the Africa Green Grant Boot camp 2020, one of the initiatives is to seek to support and empower young people in the designing and implementation of their ideas while promoting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals both in agriculture and other fields of human endeavors . The call for the grant application commenced on the 1st of January 2020 and closed on the 29th of February 2020, the applications have gone through several stages of screening and the finalists of the 2020 Africa Green Grant have been selected to partake in the 5 days business management/development intensive training boot camp. 

The finalists for the 2020 Grant are; 

(1) Rofiat Olaleye – Eco Heroes

(2) Godwin Amadi – Twincycler

(3) Beatrace Ndisa Mwanjala – Kompost Ke

(4) Jamiu Adekunle Adisa – Agric Tech

(5) Rita Idehai – Eco Barter

(6) Jonathan Stewart – Agrotech

(7) Adejoke Lasisi – Planet 3R

(8) Ademuyiwa James Ademola – Light Africa Solar Hub

(9) Bilkisu Garba – The Upcycle Architect

(10) Oluwafemi Adesope – Holinks Multi Ventures

We urge them to utilize this rare opportunity to better their lives and those of the people around them. So that in no distant time, they would become employers of labour thereby reducing unemployment in the society.
